We interviewed three real estate agents to sell our house and it was instantly clear that Mark was the man for the job: he came up with a plan to sell, ideas for cosmetic works, and got the property up on the David Evans website within days. At all points thereafter, Mark was there to offer advice, liaise with the buyers and calm us down when things got sticky. And they did. A survey carried out by a complete cretin devalued the house by 50k: most buyers would have dropped out at that stage, but Mark talked them around and convinced them to get a new valuation done; this saved the sale and our sanity. Mark even took on the job of talking to the buyers’ solicitors, when this seemed too difficult a task for our own solicitors. Again, this kept us sane in the final stages of the sale when the buyers started dragging their heels.
