We asked for basic fire safety information (on a flat we had already paid a reservation fee for) and were refused it with no explanation, and the landlord then rejected our offer (although he had already accepted it previously) because apparently not signing the offer letter after two days was 'unacceptable.' The flat in question had numerous fire safety issues, as flagged by the London Fire Brigade in a publicly accessible report. Shocking consideration for human safety, would not recommend.

Dear Grace,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We are obviously sorry to hear that our service has not met your expectations on this occasion. You are absolutely right to enquire about the various fire safety concerns you had. Unfortunately in this particular circumstance, during the early stages after your offer was agreed, the Landlord decided to withdraw the property from the market due to a change in their personal circumstance. I’d be very happy to discuss further. Your feedback on how we might improve our service offering would be very welcome. My direct line is 0207 222 1000.
Kind regards,
George Cobb
