Absolutely terrible service for property management, both from the landlord's perspective and the tenant's perspective. The communication is woeful, complaints are not escalated or dealt with properly, and they do not look after the interests of either the landlord or the tenant. I would never use Chesterton's again for property management and would advise anyone to steer clear of them. You have to chase for a response to every email, you get passed from pillar to post, there seems to be a total lack of ownership by their staff, meaning everything takes weeks and weeks to be half sorted - most of the time you end up sorting it out yourself, which leaves you wondering what you're paying for. N.B. My issue is with the property management - the letting process was good. I think I even gave them a 5 star review somewhere but the shine has well and truly worn off.
