After being with two agents one who was a disgrace and one who wasn't proactive we were very upset and angry. Didn't know where to turn. We got more advice from another agency who wanted to drastically reduce the asking price. Ashtons at Great Sankey marketed it at the price we wanted and achieved more than we expected. Having sold many properties over the last 30 plus years I have to say that Nick from Ashtons and his team are one of the best I have dealt with and i am not surprised they have won so many awards. This sale was my mother in Laws bungalow, we do not leave in the area, but Nick and his team kept us informed of every viewing/feedback and offers. They represented our needs professionally and negotiated well on our behalf culminating in a quick and seamless completion that was agreeable to all parties. Nick also enjoyed the challenge we agreed upon of a bonus if he sold the bungalow in 12 weeks. Needless to say, he rose to the challenge and completed it ahead of this so was also rewarded with my famous lemon drizzle cake for him and the team to devour which I understand Nick hasn't stopped talking about since eating it. So, to finish, I would highly recommend Nick from Ashtons to anyone looking to sell their property within their catchment area. They do everything they say they will do and promptly, they keep you well informed at all stages of the sale process, they are extremely professional and helpful even going the extra mile. Their recommendation for a local removal company was also spot on. My only regret is that we probably won’t have the opportunity to use the again as we live in the Lake District. What a fabulous experience with Nick and the team at the Stockton Heath Branch!! From start to finish!! From viewing a house that we liked, to putting ours up Nick actively sold our house in less than 2 weeks! He brought so many people in and his passion and knowledge of the area was passed on to many viewers! Once offers were accepted Nick drove the process being part of every step, a totally honest and open approach made us feel easy throughout. Nick kept in touch on weekends and nothing was ever too much trouble! Ashton’s were worth every penny of their fee! I have just bought my first house with the help of Adam and the team at Stockton Heath. We’ve just used Ashton’s in Stockton Heath to sell our house, and they were great. Nick was so enthusiastic from the very first visit and then went on to market the house brilliantly. The photos, copy and 3-d tour were top notch. We had a steady stream of viewings, all handled professionally and at times to suit the potential buyers. The buying process was a bit long and painful due to issues further down the chain but nick was always onto it, chasing solicitors regularly, and all credit to him that it completed when it did. We are really grateful to him for being so pro-active, positive and professional throughout, and for being an overall good egg. We would definitely recommend.

After writing the previous review we received a phone call from the manager who could not have been more professional. He apologised and explained there were mitigating circumstances, which at least provided with us with an explanation as to why we had received such bad service. It's a shame we never had the opportunity to deal with him in the first place.
