My husband and I initially had a viewing at a different property but once we told Sarah it was too secluded for my disabilities, she immediately mentioned sovereign court. We viewed straight away & decided to accept. Naomi was professional and always kept us up to date...even managed to get us a discount on our rent 😊 We then got our signing date and met Moira a the property who was equally polite and professional explain most things. The only thung she couldn't explain was the central heating and it's the only thing we are struggling with 🤔 I honestly cannot fault the service we have received from Ryder & dutton & would highly recommend them.

Excellent service from both Madeline Hodgson and Naomi Pryce from the beginning to the end. Over the last 20 years as a landlord I have used several of the independent estate agents in Holmfirth and I would not recommend any of them for various reasons. However for many years now I have always used Ryder and Dutton because their employees have proven to be first class in every way in securing me a tenant. I tried Ryder & Dutton after having had months of frustration with hardly any viewings with others. I’d had valuations that artificially depressed or inflated expectations. It can be very confusing for people with no market insights, which leaves sellers vulnerable to what suits agents. The R&D Huddersfield manager Bradley was pretty different spending a lot longer talking pretty honestly about the area and their practice. He explained Michelle McCann Assistant Manager would be proactive and communicative and they’d stay engaged. I was of course skeptical but not for long. Michelle was not only refreshingly human but she was dogged fast and efficient on my behalf even when not in the office. I soon had an offer and then I really saw what Michelle does, pushing and cajoling all parties right to the completion date. They have been absolutely solid in my experience and I would recommend them every time before any agents with bargain fees or big promises. Its a stressful enough time as it is which is why I’ve taken the time to do such a full review.

Myself and my partner recently bought a property which was on sale through Ryder & Dutton. We were dealing with Michelle McCann at the Lindley office, who was exceptional. We made several calls and were always able to get hold of her, she went out of her way to chase things up with solicitors and the maintenance company and always kept us updated with any progress. To be perfectly honest she was by far the best person we dealt with in the whole house buying process and was always the first person we contacted (before our own mortgage advisor and solicitors) even though she wasn't technically acting for us.
