We purchased a property in Lincoln just before Christmas that the previous owner sold to us due to having tenants who trashed the place, and still needed plenty of work doing on it despite having been "prepared" for sale. From the moment we selected Belvoir as our letting agent they have been helpful, professional and diligent. They gave us access to some great tradespeople that they use regularly who have proved to be totally reliable and sensibly priced, which has been a godsend given that we live over 100miles away from the area. Once ready for letting, they found suitable tenants for the property within 10 days, and despite a move-in delay caused by the January snows, moved in on 1st February. In the tenants' first couple of weeks there were a number of issues with failing equipment in the property, now hopefully solved, and Belvoir's management of the issues and their resolution has been exemplary, especially in keeping the tenants onside during the problems. Their charging structure and advice of anticipated costs in connection with maintenance is totally transparent, and we now have a 2nd property let through them and are looking to add more during the course of this year.
