After considering three other agents to sell our house we were keen to meet Newton fallowell because of the very attractive way they had presented the house we wanted to purchase. The video especially was extremely helpful and our vendors spoke highly of the agents. Newton fallowell's approach was to list our house at less than we wanted to generate interest and stir up competition. This was rather different from other agents and from our initial preference and, we felt, possibly influenced by an agent's natural desire for a quick sale. We took the chance, won over by their marketing style, and it happened to work. Zak is very engaging and energetic while Tom's calm confidence makes him gently persuasive yet leaving you feeling reassured. Tom worked his socks off, repeatedly answering emails when frankly all sane people are in bed! His attention to detail and quality of work were also excellent. We had some less than positive administrative experiences with their apprentice but these did improve. Our experience has been that all estate agents exaggerate, spin or even lie to a lesser or greater extent. I found Newton fallowell to be middle of the road on this. Their fee was middling too and they're no sale no fee like most reputable agents. We used EHL for conveyancing who they recommended. Whilst I was confident in the solicitor assigned to us we were extremely disappointed by the minimal and tardy service when she was on leave, which contributed to some stresses at the end.
