Just had one of your agents try and let themselves into my house claiming they had organised a viewing. Neither myself nor my husband received any contact whatsoever from Northwood regarding a viewing nor had either of us granted the permission needed for anyone to access our house. When organising viewings, wouldn't you say that gaining the permission to legally access somebody's home should be pretty high up on your to do list?
Also - just a suggestion - if I'm polite enough to let your agent show someone around my home after your spectacular blunder, perhaps it would have been polite of him to come and apologise to me afterwards instead of darting off down the street like a rat up a drainpipe. Classy.
I do hope, despite my home not being quite as presentable as I'd have very much liked it to be for a viewing, that the nice folks that saw it today decide to take it. At least then we might not have to endure any more of your incompetence and can move out in peace.
Anyway, thanks for scaring the living hell out of me and congrats on almost breaking the law. We'll be passing this on to our landlady - hopefully she can find herself a less sloppy agency next time!!

Firstly may I apologise for any intrusion, distress or lack of communication. I can only imagine how upsetting that could be. The agent that attended did offer to re-arrange but you allowed access and he has confirmed to me that he tried to talk to you once the viewing was complete but you were on your mobile phone. I am sorry if you thought otherwise.
In the interest of clarity I would like to explain that our computer system relies on a tick-box system for the current tenant confirming access for a viewing. This viewing was booked by a member of staff that only started for us last week. The error that has occurred was one box being ticked where it should not have been. Obviously I will take that on board with regards to training. However, as a small business owner yourself I would expect time to reply to your partner's phonecall to the office prior to such a review being left. I do not understand your comment with regards to 'enduring our incompetence' when we do not manage your let and I personally gave your partner advice when he called regarding the garden issue with the landlord only a couple of months ago. I am sorry you have felt compelled to write such a review and I will ensure any future viewings will be confirmed to you with a full 24 hour's notice.
