Tried several times to arrange viewings for rental properties and was consistently told I'd be called back and never was. I gave my details every time and they never seemed to keep them on file. They listed properties as available when they weren't and have just been really difficult to work with. We've been desperate to find somewhere for weeks now and all the rentals in town seem to be through this agency so we've made no headway. Poor service and really unhelpful during a time when you really need some help to find a place to live.

Tried to contact the office several times to view a property, found it very difficult to speak with Myra and found any comms quite sharp and dismissive. Was persuaded to have a drive by viewing of the property as despite listing it unable to view as tenant sill in situ. Agent seemed to know nothing about the property either and there appears to be a neighbour problem due to lack of maintenance done by current tenant. Was almost persuaded to put down a deposit without viewing the property, surely an agent doing this cannot be right?! Then heard nothing, oh with the exception that the Landlord has now put the rent on the property in Fleming Way in Burntisland up to £700. Then got a message saying that they were starting viewings, then another that the landlords friend has going to look at the property and guess what after all of that the landlord let it to his mate. Such a waste of everyone's time. Given all the other negative reviews maybe I have dodged a bullet. What a shame this franchise is not to the usual good standard for Martin and Co. Good luck renting with them - the reviews speak for themselves regarding the Kirkcaldy branch.

This is one of the worst letting agencies in the entire United Kingdom. The flat was filthy when we moved in, food left rotting in the cupboards and fridge, stripped windows, no TV despite the promise of one, 2 weeks of no heat in winter with no response from them, etc. Its truly unbelievable that this, THE ONLY SERVICE your company provides, is somehow beyond your ability to do competently, being unable to accomplish even the most basic aspects of it apparently. I've made sure to warn everyone I can about this "agency" and their underhanded and incompetent business practices.

Some previous reviews sum them up, smoke and mirrors, unhelpful and unprofessional. Used them as a landlord for 10 years but the last 3 were completely unacceptable and finally moved on from them. The aftercare and service was atrocious. My opinion - avoid like the plague whether tenant or LL.
