First time expeirence of selling our property. We looked into Purple Bricks and had friends who used them - they don't work on commission so don't really care if your house sells for less as long as the sale gets completed. We then decided we needed an agent and had the property valued by three local estate agents. Lynda from Robert Oulsnam (Kings Heath, Birmingham branch) was such a breath of fresh air. No sales pitch, no fake compliments to butter me up - just genuine knowledge and experience. We were happy to go ahead with them. Amy came to take the photos and, again, was excellent. Advising what we should move around, the angles etc. Advert was live within forty-eight hours as promised. Susan handled our viewings with 100% professionalism - advising us of the viewings booked, offers and who she felt was the best bet. Our house sold with ten days of it going on sale and we should be exchanging this week. Naz has been excellent with the communication and making sure all is ticking along. No one wants to pay agents fees but you have to see the benefits. They looked after everything for us, got us above asking price and had it marked as 'sold' in no time - that's what we paid for and were happy to do so!
