The Beast from the East (March 2018) was an extreme period of very cold, prolonged weather which put unprecedented demand on both local and national heating engineers. Your Landlord had British Gas Homecare Cover, due to the high level of demand and weather slowing or preventing travel there were delays in British Gas engineers attending throughout the UK. Henderson Connellan booked the earliest available date with British Gas. In an attempt to speed up the process local independent engineers were also contacted but were unable to attend any sooner. This extreme weather situation resulted in delays which were beyond the control of both Henderson Connellan and your Landlord.
