Initially spoke to Callan at Miles and Barr as I had many questions about being a first time buyer. He answered all of my queries and doubts and was very approachable and made me feel very comfortable. He forwarded me onto a specialist mortgage adviser, who's name is Gary. Gary was wonderful and a real pleasure to also talk with. Being a first time buyer I had also many questions for him of which he answered and sent me a summary after our phone conversation and as soon as I am able to be in a position to get a mortgage or property, it will be with Miles and Barr. Miles and Barr have been fantastic throughout our house purchase process - particularly Kayleigh who held most of our viewings and has always been friendly, professional and very helpful! She's been really responsive throughout and kept us well informed, which we've appreciated as first-time buyers.

Miles & Barr went above and beyond - Highly recommend. When choosing an agent for our sale we spoke to a few local agents. We decided to go with Miles & Barr as they seemed to be more professional and understanding to our needs. Sam was through with his explanation of how the company would market our property and the valuation was spot on. Zoe who did the viewings took the time to walk around the house with me prior to viewings to ensure she was aware of the many good points of our home, as well as what was being left and taken. Like many I wasn't happy with the fees that estate agents in general charge, but i have to admit they were worth every penny. Katie who was the sales progressor for our sale had many issues from the whole chain to deal with, she went above and beyond calling back after office hours to ensure she kept in contact and didn't keep us waiting for answers to enquiries. She is a real asset to the company and her working hours spent on our sale must come close to the fee we paid. After viewing many properties with other local agents and seeing how they dealt with communication and follow ups from viewings we had made, I AM SO PLEASED I CHOSE MILES & BARR as the other companies did not pay as much attention to detail and were very slow in dealing with enquiries and offers we made. Many thanks to Zoe from the M&B Folkestone branch for all her advice and guidance in our search for a property in the area. Working in London, it’s difficult to get the right feel for a locality and Zoe’s friendly and approachable manner quickly put us at our ease and reassured us that we were in the right hands. Zoe’s very detailed local knowledge - on Folkestone and surrounding area - was invaluable. She listened to our requirements, asked clear questions (also about things we hadn’t thought about) and then suggested appropriate properties for us to view which matched our needs, especially with regard to access to the coast, the kind of area we wanted to live in and, very importantly, the schools. I cannot thank the Miles & Barr team enough. From the first appointment of valuation, through the viewings and to exchange and completion, they made the process of selling our house in Sandgate as smooth as possible! I have been consistently impressed by Amy @Miles & Barr Folkestone throughout the time she has been managing the BTL apartments I have. She is organised, totally professional, nothing is ever too much trouble and particularly in light of recent issues I have had with the freeholder she has gone well beyond her remit to help look after the tenants' interests in very difficult circumstances, as well as always supporting me. Couldn't ask for any more, Amy is a credit to her profession and to property management.

Having just brought a property through Miles and Barr i would like to say thank you to Zoe who has helped us all the way the day we picked up the keys. Nothing was to much trouble, she arranged the viewings on the property, then helped to arrange keys so we could get the floors measured before we moved so the house will be ready to move in to.
