Many thanks to Zoe from the M&B Folkestone branch for all her advice and guidance in our search for a property in the area. Working in London, it’s difficult to get the right feel for a locality and Zoe’s friendly and approachable manner quickly put us at our ease and reassured us that we were in the right hands. Zoe’s very detailed local knowledge - on Folkestone and surrounding area - was invaluable. She listened to our requirements, asked clear questions (also about things we hadn’t thought about) and then suggested appropriate properties for us to view which matched our needs, especially with regard to access to the coast, the kind of area we wanted to live in and, very importantly, the schools. Very pleased with the service I received at the weekend. We were travelling down to Folkestone to view a couple of properties, so as another came up with Miles & Barr I thought I’d try on the off chance to secure a same day viewing. Callan Watson was extremely accommodating and made a couple of calls in the morning to secure a viewing for us- perfectly sandwiched between the two we already had scheduled. I have been consistently impressed by Amy @Miles & Barr Folkestone throughout the time she has been managing the BTL apartments I have. She is organised, totally professional, nothing is ever too much trouble and particularly in light of recent issues I have had with the freeholder she has gone well beyond her remit to help look after the tenants' interests in very difficult circumstances, as well as always supporting me. I can’t express my thanks enough to Katie our after sales negotiator. I genuinely believe that we wouldn’t have exchanged when we did if it wasn’t for her persistence and determination to get our contracts exchanged. Initially spoke to Callan at Miles and Barr as I had many questions about being a first time buyer. He answered all of my queries and doubts and was very approachable and made me feel very comfortable. He forwarded me onto a specialist mortgage adviser, who's name is Gary. Gary was wonderful and a real pleasure to also talk with. Being a first time buyer I had also many questions for him of which he answered and sent me a summary after our phone conversation and as soon as I am able to be in a position to get a mortgage or property, it will be with Miles and Barr.
