Ramsgate miles And Barr must be the worst estate agents I’ve ever used. They got me to sign saying they’ve got someone in mind. Nothing came off that just to get me to sign as soon as I signed. I hadn’t heard anything from them for weeks and weeks I rang up to see what was happening, and the agent I was dealing with has left the office and not working there anymore, I asked someone about my property and they haven’t got a clue about it. No one at the Ramsgate agents has even been round my property to look. I rang up to complain that I haven’t heard anything from them and had no viewings at all as soon as I put the phone down after our conversation 28 minutes after I had a viewing what a load of rubbish they must think I’m stupid then after that still hadn’t heard anything for weeks rang up again to say, I still haven’t heard anything from you what is going on with my property for them to say we get someone to ring you back three days later, I get a phone call to say drop the price £30,000, so I done it on their recommendation and still haven’t heard from them so weeks , I rang to and give them two weeks notice to take my property off the market they said yes that’s fine we will do that not even asked me if there’s any problems if there’s anything they can do why am I taking the property off the market nothing from them whatsoever I said to the lady on the phone do I have to do this in writing, she didn’t have a clue and had to asked ask two other colleagues if I had too then came back on the phone and said yes you have to put it in writing, so I could’ve waited two weeks and it’s still Because it had to be in writing The time has come for my property to be off the market on the 29th of November. I have a look on the 2nd of December and still live for sale so ring the office again for them to say I don’t know why still on the market, I will sort it out today haven’t got a clue if that will happen. I can’t understand how there’s nearly 30 staff in one office and you never hear from anyone. God knows what they do so 20 weeks wasted and £200 wasted for photos I had to pay please don’t use you’ll be wasting your time and money

BEWARE- DO NOT USE. The only agent that charge the seller for photos. Before the house went live I was approx £400 out of pocket. Agreed to 12 weeks which suddenly changed to 20 weeks. The sales adviser left so M&B couldn’t confirm the agreed duration. The property was shelved. Not one person viewed in 20 weeks. Only communication was to ask us to reduce the price. It just wasn’t working. I asked to go multiple agents M&B refused outright. I asked to reduce the length of the contract which was also refused. I’m very confused why they still wanted the house on the books. I hoped the manager of the ramsgate branch would be sympathetic but no just rude. I finally went to the head office. This was a waste of time. Still not allowed to reduce the contract length. Miles & Barr are not the company they once were. The reviews clearly tell the story in black and white. I will never use them again. What a waste of 20 weeks.

Avoid Miles & Barr at all costs! Arranging a viewing is easy but once you get past that you are met with the incompetent applications team. To say Shannon was rude, unpleasant, incapable and unprofessional is being kind. Rhian lied and assured me that the property that it would be cleaned only to get they keys and it was still filthy. Miles & barrs standards are clearly shocking, not to mention their miserable faces when you, unfortunately, have to go in there and see them in person! God knows what they’re own houses look like. Don’t waste your time! Especially if the property you’re looking to rent is owned by the Turnstone group Ltd. I have been in one of their properties for 6 months and still no communication from them. I've even spoke to Miles and Barr about it and they can’t seem to help.

I called them about a property to let. And they’re still to get back to me after 3 weeks of waiting

The worst experience I have ever received from an estate agency, no care for the customers would recommend you use a different agency as this one will leave you waiting without a care

Just had a bad experience with lettings… booked in for a viewing, they confirmed it twice with me (including the day before) so I booked my train ticket from London. Then on the train this morning on the way to the viewing they called to say the property was no longer available. Poor communication, which cost me precious time and expense. I will not use Miles and Barr again.
