No contact in 6 months, no leads converted and told I was tied in to a 12 month contract when I tried to give notice. The whole experience has been an utter waste of time - I have not recieved a single decent lead from using Valpal and have had zero return on investment. No contact from anyone at the company in response to having zero return or leads from their product so I decided to give notice. I have now had a lengthy email from Craig to tell me that due to going over the original 12 months of our contract that we are now tied in for another 12 months and due to pay £1200 + VAT over the year. I have tried to reasonably explain that I feel that this is an unfair contract clause and have been bluntly told that he believes it isn't. I am currently engaging legal advice as to whether it is or it isn't. Regardless of the outcome, to not contact your customer in 6 months and to not even notify them that their contract is going to renew for another 12 months closer to this deadline giving them the proverbial heads up and choice that they can cancel if they're not happy is poor form. The only reason you would do this is because you know they're not happy, they're not receiving any return on their initial investment and you haven't made one iota of effort to optimise the experience for them in over 6 months. It is the kind of tactics a business employs when they know that their customers are not likely to renew their contract due to advance knowledge that their product is not going to work for them. The obvious response is 'Well you should have read the smallprint'. I don't disagree with this but at the same time it does not change anything that I've written above. 30 days notice should be able to be given at any point after the initial 12 month contract - to tie someone in for a further 12 months and to purposefully not notify them of this inevitability by explaining that their contract is up for renewal is duplicitous and underhand.

Hi Max, I understand that your contract has renewed and currently you aren't seeing the benefits that many of our top performing agents are seeing. Craig has tried to reach out, discuss and share these insights with you to make the tool work for you. I've asked Craig Vile to pop you an email with his calendar link so you can book in a convenient time to call. Alternatively, you can just call the office number and he'll be more than happy to discuss this with you and come to a resolution. Kind regards, Steph and The ValPal Network team
