Firstly I agree with the reviews previously made by other customers. I actually feel for the owner who actually trusted Martin and co . I reported number of issues to the agent and nothing was done about. For over 6 months the velux windows were leaking . The door lock was temperamental , we were advised to put wd40 on it , luckily it’s a wet safe building so we used to leave it unlocked. This is an apartment in valley mills in elland. Do not rent from these cowboys and landlords they don’t care about your property. I’m regards to your response from the owner , no maintenance reviews were conducted we advised of the issues aswell , each time you booked an appointment no one showed up , only on the 17th of November 2021 where I cancelled the inspection due to previously of no one showing up or getting in contact with us to let us know that you are unable to make it. So I’m the two years of renting the property no inspections were done

Pretend to be nice before you sign the contract and pay the money. Assure you they have corrected everything needed in the property but as soon as they got your money they don’t care about you anymore. Lee always advices you to use your money to correct everything and cancelled most of the things that needed fixing. Overall company is run by a clown. Expect an auto reply to this. Sorry my mistake. They start calling and Harassing you and how did you call me if I was hiding???

We were very unhappy with our experiences of this outfit. We believe they totally mismanaged our property, loads of examples for instance writing to us to suggest we extend our tenants contract even though they were not paying their rent. We believe we were lied to on other occasions. Avoid this outfit.They even asked me to call them to check I had the right business!! Sort of proves my point really! I have their correspondence to us to prove it. Just give them a wide berth.

Moved into one of their buildings and within the first two weeks the hot water went off for 3 days and at the same time the WiFi wasn’t up “due to the landlord being busy” Updating my situation, it has now been a week with “on and off” hot water where i have personally only seen the hot water being on once for about an half an hour in the morning before it went again however the internet has been fixed. Still would not recommend this letting agency and would in fact tell people to avoid doing business with them at all. The WiFi working is also extremely poor if you’re using it for anything other than simply looking things up on googleNegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

They Pretend to be nice before you sign the contract and pay the money, but as soon as they got your money they don’t care about you anymore, took months to repair and took your deposit for no reason. The only way to get your deposit is to dispute with the Dps or TPS I can’t remember and you probably will have to take legal action But to be fair I like one of their staffs called William or will, always friendly and helpful but he couldn’t help much as he is responsible for something else I believe but others are really not helpful at all Better Avoid them if you can and there are a lot of properties that you can choose

Good morning GUY B - is that your name really? This user left a worded review last night, but has since removed it. Martin & Co Huddersfield have never had a client inline with this name and safely assume this is a bogus review from someone with too much time their hands.
