In mid-January my old dad announced it was time for him to move into residential care, and tasked me to sell the house he had lived at in Hitchin for over 35 years to fund the care home fees. I do not live locally and work full time in a very demanding role, so did not have the luxury of time or local knowledge to work on this task. The e-brochure that John quickly put together for the property showed it in it’s most favourable light and was first class. From the day the property hit the market, John and Jan kept me informed pre-and post-appointment with client feedback and we had firm offers in place to choose from within 5 days. John in particular deserves special mention and grateful thanks for going above and beyond at short notice when we encountered hiccups which I was unable to sort myself due to time and distance. His considered opinion and advice was invaluable throughout. All in all, even with the disappointment of a withdrawn offer some 3 weeks into the process, I couldn’t fault the service received from John and Jan, whose optimism, encouraging words and unfailing humour saw us through to a very satisfactory completion. Would I use Belvoir again? Very definitely! And I would suggest you give serious consideration too.
