This was my first time moving into a rented property using this estate agent. I worked closed with Lisa Richards who has continuously been helpful and has answered many of my questions. Move in was simple and detailed advice was given. My only recommendation would be for smoother hand over with details of where to find gas, electric & water meters and information on how to access these areas if they are not obvious. Richard James, although more expensive than others, proved their worth. As we drove around Swindon it became clear that above all others, Richard James had sold signs on the majority of their properties. The proof was in the pudding when our first sale fell through and within 2 days we were under offer again. There staff are very friendly and helpful, progressing the sale effectively where they could.

All staff I dealt with were very polite and Professional at the northswindon branch.

Richard James provided us with an excellent service. We sold our property and purchased our new house through RJ very quickly (within a week of going on the market). Unfortunately the buyers pulled out 6 weeks later, but RJ were very quick and efficient to get our house back on the market. Viewings came thick and fast and we sold again within a week or so and still purchased the house we wanted :-) We were kept informed about viewings and provided feedback where possible. Anthony was great and really helpful during the sale and purchase. There was a minor miss communication on RJ's part along the way that could have been avoided, however this was rectified and no harm done. We were most impressed with the Sales Progression Team, in particular Hayley. She was fantastic and kept us informed constantly with what was going on with both our sale and purchase. Hayley was extremely helpful all the way through to the day we completed and made our buying and selling experience a less stressful one :-)

Was very impressed with Richard James - North Swindon throughout the buying process. Antony was great at showing us around properties, and always happy to help with any queries or issues we had while buying. Hayley was a good sales progressor, ringing us regularly with updates, and handling a couple of issues we had well. We would be happy to use Richard James - North Swindon again for our buying/selling needs.

Richard James is an estate agent that I would give 3 stars. The team is friendly and helpful, and they are great at arranging viewings. However, they send a barrage of unsolicited emails, and they do not stop even when asked to be removed from the mailing list. This is a major drawback, and it has significantly lowered my opinion of the agency.
