I’m not sure where to start as I honestly cannot say enough good things about country Holmes. We made a decision to sell our starter family home and ended up moving to our forever home, so having the right estate agent to help facilitate the process was crucial. We decided to get quotes from several agents. The online agent came out significantly cheaper but we were conscious of the fact that in life you generally get what you pay for. The fact that Country Holmes are one of the top sellers in the Glossop area also spoke volumes. We therefore made the decision to proceed with them and I can honestly say it was the best decision we made. In Mike (company director), you’d genuinely struggle to find a more professional (yet personable), efficient and responsive person to help sell your house. He even managed to find us our dream home! Nothing was ever too much effort for Mike- knowing how desperate we were to get our house on the market, he was up at the crack of dawn and rang me before I’d even rolled out of bed to go through the final details before we went live. Mike is also a pioneer in using state of the art technology which is unrivalled by any other local agent- the 3D walkthrough and doll house view are brilliant and reallly gave prospective buyers a true sense of perspective and the floor space on offer within our house. The girls in the office (initially Rochelle, then Evie) were equally brilliant and whenever anything needed chasing up they would do so immediately (despite the high demand caused by the SD holiday) and we were always kept promptly up to date with any developments. We are not planning to move again but if the situation arose we wouldn’t consider anyone other than Country Holmes.
