I called to view a property and I was told I "should probably have a mortgage in principle before viewing". I work in the banking industry, have gotten an affordability check and have about 15% deposit saved already. Yet the agent on the phone spoke as if I was an idiot because I am a first time buyer. I was supposed to get a call back on a viewing I wanted to book and never heard back. I guess they dnt like first time buyers.

Hi Tulsi,
Whilst it is our policy that everyone who views a property through our agency is financial ly verified, it is unacceptable that you did not receive a call back. Financial qualification is a commitment we give our clients, so despite your position we must treat everyone equally.
Can you please email ben@deykingharia.co.uk with the agents name that you spoke to, and the property that you would like to see and I'm sure that we can make the necessary arrangements.
I apologise if the agents tone was taken wrongly, we observe all agents to ensure they treat all clients and applicants with the utmost respect so again I apologise if you had a different experience on the occasion you called.
