Waste of time - we saw a house we really liked and enquired on the phone about booking a viewing. When offered a viewing appointment we explained we were on holiday and asked if my parents could attend instead. Was told this was totally fine and arranged for them to go to view the property which they did. Called up to put an offer in and were told we weren't allowed to because we hadn't viewed the property personally! That's fine but why waste my and my parents time with a viewing, instead of being up front about that? It was the same guy on the phone both times.
