I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agency. When I first rented a property from them, I was a student. However, I soon realized that Hatfield wasn’t the best option due to the lack of job opportunities, so I wanted to move out. Unfortunately, the agency, particularly an agent named Will and another team member whose name I can’t recall, were completely unhelpful and made the process extremely stressful.
They only care about getting you to sign the contract once that’s done, you’re on your own. Despite their initial promises to help me find a replacement tenant, I had to do all the work myself. Even when I found suitable tenants, they rejected them for unreasonable reasons, dragging out the process unnecessarily. Throughout this time, they ignored my calls and refused to acknowledge the issue, causing immense mental pressure just over the rent.
This agency lacks professionalism, support, and basic customer service. If you’re a student or tenant looking for fair treatment, I would strongly advise you to avoid them.

Regarding your request to exit your contract early, we were happy to facilitate this provided a suitable replacement tenant was found. Unfortunately, given the time of year, demand for single rooms in student housing was low, and despite our efforts, we were unable to secure a new tenant.
As per the agreement you signed, the responsibility for the rent remained with you for the duration of the tenancy. While we understand this may have led to frustration, the contract was in place to ensure both your rights and those of the landlord, who committed to providing safe and well-maintained accommodation. Throughout your tenancy, we conducted regular inspections and promptly addressed maintenance concerns to uphold these standards.
We believe that, had circumstances not required you to leave early, your experience with us would have been more positive. Nonetheless, we appreciate your feedback and regret that you felt dissatisfied.
