James, thanks for feedback. As you confirmed the property was landlord managed and the arrangement for us was to tenant find only on their behalf. It was the landlords own provided inventory that you signed. Our company policy is that tenants then have 7 days to notify us on any significant changes/omissions that will then be passed to the landlord. With regards to your deposit, you reported this to the Property Ombudsman and no action was taken. As we said from the start it was the landlords responsibility to register this as set out in the Terms of Business signed between Belvoir and the Landlord. The landlord confirmed that this was an oversight and repaid your deposit in full. The anti social behaviour that you refer to was caused by an individual tenant that was the only person in the block not found by Belvoir and was indeed via one of the landlords own contacts. Although its disappointing to receive a 1 star review, your comments highlight the potential pitfalls when landlords self manage and the benefits in turn of using our fully managed service.
