We have been very happy with HomeSmart Lettings so far. First of all, when we viewed two houses (one of which we now live in, the other one was too nice to last long enough for our indecisiveness on the day), we were impressed with the good state of the houses, especially in regards to cleanliness and state of repair. Once we made an application, due to our financial situation being in a slightly awkward spot for referencing (fairly recent self employment), the referencing process took a bit longer than usually, but Homesmart were really understanding with the situation and helped with communication with the landlord. I should clarify that Homesmart weren't the ones doing the referencing, so they didn't have much influence on it taking long. Once that was all through, we were able to receive the keys within just a few days, with them willing to work around our schedules as I often work away from home. Since then there have barely been any issues, and the one little thing there was was resolved within a day. One of the locks (there are two consecutive doors, so it isn't essential for locking the house) was malfunctioning and only worked normally some of the time. As soon as we reported that, they organised for a locksmith to come the same day who called us, so we didn't even have to take initiative in organising this. He took a good look at it and fixed it quickly, and we haven't had any issues with it since. Most of our interactions have been with Alisha who has been polite, professional and helpful in her communication and prompt in doing whatever needed to be done in the situation. All in all, we have had a positive experience through and through, and are loving our new home. If we needed to move but in a similar area, we would go with HomeSmart again any time.
