As others have said, I cannot input my bank details due to some sort of error on Verify's side. I have emailed their support team four times yet I only receive an automated message telling me they've received my complaint and will get back to me. Furthermore, I need to get my information on this app so I can move forward with buying a house. So this app is wasting my time, the seller's time and lawyer's time. I will not use any company that use this app again in the future. Sloppy, embarassing work from this app, and embarassing for all the companies insisting on using it.

Been calling for close to a hour now. Will not pick up!

Have just purchased our first house that was listed by Hollbrook & Co, Hartlepool branch. Terrible experience, I could go on & on but probably better just steering clear from them to be honest. No matter how much you love the house, save yourself the 6 months of stress. Crucial details: house was not listed as having a service rent charge (fleecehold), was only after an offer was put in & accepted that our solicitor made enquiries which lead to us finding out about it. Should of backed out at that point really… but we had our hearts set on the house by then. Couldn’t get in touch with Hollbrook all week on completion week. 20+ phonecalls, 0 answer. Had to ring our solicitor & get contact details for the seller to give us the keys directly. The poor sellers had the same rubbish communication from Hollbrook & their solicitor & had no clue they where meant to be out by 2pm. Leading to a stressfull day for them & us not getting the keys until about 5:30pm. So we ended up having to move in the following day. God knows what we would of done if we’d all had been in a chain.. Luckily we didn’t due to renting. We where first time buyers and the sellers first time sellers, so both had no idea what the “norm” is but I can’t believe your even allowed to operate like this & continue trading tbh..

We enquired on a property on Fairlands Avenue, we was ready to offer on the property as soon as we had been shown around the house, we called on Tuesday to be told the earliest that the vendor would allow people to view was Saturday, I stressed is there no way of viewing the property sooner and the member of staff I spoke to said unfortunately not Saturday would be the earliest after going away to check with another colleague of hers. Friday morning comes and I get a call from the office to say that unfortunately our viewing has been cancelled as somebody viewed the property on Thursday and the vendor has accepted their offer and that we were no longer able to view the house. Very disappointing and dishonest experience.
