Very poor and little or no help when trying to find a flat to rent. Viewing times are in the daytime and few and far between. Viewings are cancelled at the very last minute. Information is promised and does not materialise.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

Tried renting with lovelle Bacons, constantly felt like I was left out of the loop. They never returned the phone calls they said they would and never updated me when something happened with my application. It felt like they didn’t want me to actually get a property through them. Would not recommend unless you want to be let down and constantly confused as to what’s going on.

Currently renting with this agency and the communication is appalling. Been waiting for call back numerous times never got one. Been expecting to receive a letter but yet again never received one. Currently not even in the property due to it causing health issues and even though we’re happy to provide a doctors notes proving the flats caused me to be in hospital we’ve been told we’re not allowed to leave the tenancy and apparently the flats ‘fine’. Sam who is the director has spoken down to us many times only really seemed bothered when we said they could keep the money we paid upfront. Will happily be taking legal action because everyone here just doesn’t care or listen unless money is involved. Also apparently sent our letter to the landlord then turned round and said they know he’ll say no so haven’t bothered🤔. If you want to be lied to and made ill go with lovelle.👍🏻

There is a common misconception that companies fear negative reviews however, in practice this allows a company to respond formally whilst the public then have the opportunity to reflect on the entire situation. You have raised a number of issues regarding your property with us and on each occasion, a contractor has attended the flat to resolve the issue very quickly as you have confirmed during our conversations. When you raised your concerns regarding your health, we immediately offered to attend the property that day as we deemed this to be an urgent priority (which was declined) and then offered to attend the following day with the council inspector, which you declined. We then rebooked for the following day (although you again tried to cancel). After attending the property we requested further works be investigated/works completed to be re-checked to give you piece of mind although there was not evidence of the issues described. Your comment regarding the property causing illness is rather defamatory as you live in a block of flats where the majority of the tenants have lived for a number of years and a no such issue has ever been raised. In terms of your tenancy, you signed a six month tenancy agreement and requested to leave at month 3. We discussed this with the property owner who declined your request and explained to you that you are contractually obligated to fulfil the initial 6 month period in terms of rent, bills and council tax. Maddison you understood this position and we agreed that once the flat had been cleared that we would meet you at the property for you final 'check out' inspection. On our call you explained that this was fine and that you wished to move back home as quickly as possible. As a company we take absolute pride in our honest and transparent approach with every customer so we are incredibly disappointed to see your comments here however, as an agency we have gone above and beyond to try to help you. Where too begin with Lovelle, as me and my partner are first time renters we thought we’d give lovelle a try the reviews weren’t great, but we thought we check it out for ourselves. There have been countless problems with the flat. I’ve been promised countless and I mean countless calls back, can safely say I’ve had maybe 2 or 3 calls back from lovelle from March up until the time of writing this review. The calls I’ve had with the company director Sam felt like I was being belittled and not taken seriously. I had too ring up too actually find out we’d got the property we had applied for. Due too all of these circumstances I’ve been under a great deal of stress. It is a shame, it’s actually a real shame we really thought we’d have a really pleasant first time renting experience. But sadly lovelle ruined my expectations on this regard. It’s a shame money is more important than the well-being of tenants. You have raised a number of issues regarding your property with us and on each occasion, a contractor has attended the flat to resolve the issue very quickly as you have confirmed during our conversations. when you again called (although you were not living in the property) expressing your concerns, we immediately offered to attend the property that day to fully understand your concerns. You declined this offer and also the offer to attend the next day. We attended two days later (although you tried to cancel this) and were unable to find any evidence of your concerns. That said, we immediately requested the contractor to re-attend and check that all works had been completed correctly whilst also checking for any further issues. In terms of call backs, this is simply not the case, we have returned your calls and tried to engage with yourself and Maddison however you have remained unhappy as we are unable to release you from your tenancy agreement. This is due to you requesting to leave three months into your six month 'assured short hold tenancy' which you are legally obligated to fulfil. Your partner understood this position and explained that you wish to leave Grimsby to return home asap. We take our responsibilities as a company very seriously and are sad to see your comments here although we do fundamentally disagree with what you have stated. They are a very poor company and do not look after their landlords. Please stay clear of them. Hunters in Gainsbourgh are the Best by far sold my property in 3-4 months.
