Dear Bisera, I have read your comments and understood them carefully please note we hold email communication with yourself and our office. You viewed a property in Purfleet on 6th May marketed for a guide price of £160,000-£170,000. You made an offer of £162,000 on 7th May 2016. On 13th May you advised by email the property will not be removed from the market following the seller’s instruction stating until a successful mortgage application was completed and a survey paid for, to which we had no reply from you until Monday 16th May timed at 21:09 - you stated in your email requesting property details, length of lease and confirming you will be seeing your bank the following day (17th May). On 17th May our office received an offer that was reported to the sellers, and based on the reasonable time they had waited for any development on your mortgage application, unfortunately the sellers had decided to go ahead with the new offer. I am afraid we cannot be held responsible for the seller’s decision to go with another buyer considering they had waited reasonable time for you to perform on advancing on your mortgage application. We do not wish for any buyer to suffer a loss of a property but cannot avoid these types of situations in a market when house prices are rising with more buyers around than sellers.
