Staff are very well informed, willing to help and very friendly. We are currently in the process of buying a house through this estate agent and so far they have been great, they have kept us well informed at every step and are always there to answer queries and clarify things. They even let us bring our dog in when we went in to sign some paperwork.
Really good service so far with Manning Stainton Garforth, they have kept me informed and followed up well on any concerns I had. Financial advisor was helpful and not at all pushy.
Amazing staff at this branch of Manning Stainton. Steve, Andrea and the team are very professional and helpful at all times. Would highly recommend them.
We picked Mannings after seeing a couple of estate agents and we were impressed by Jacob's research of the houses and area before we even met. Jacob was professional, helpful and always available with advice and made the first stage of our house selling journey easy at what was a difficult time. Jacob has great knowledge of the markets and has helped me out with my questions as and when needed. A great asset to the team. Thanks all.
Big thank you to Yvonne Jones who managed to navigate a chain of 6 houses to a completion in about 15 weeks. Not an easy feat with 6 clients and 6 different solicitors.
I viewed a house at short notice, Danielle followed up the visit and discussed what was necessary to aid the sale. she was most helpful when I made my offer and follow ups.
What can you really say about an estate agent. The couple of sales associates I've met were fantastic but other office staff were a little pushy, guess that's the sales game
3 stars They sell the dream when you 1st invite them around, about how they have sold loads in the area, come with a package on what they have sold and for how much, and explain the process.. typical estate agent stuff to try get you to go with them. Next are the photos, painless. We were happy with most of these and any we weren't they changed no hassle. The problems come next, we asked them to do the viewing, thinking professionals would help sell faster then 2 newbies. But I dont think we can call them professionals at selling, we have a dog camera so when people were booked in we would watch to get a feel of the buyers. But what we saw were rubbish estate agents, not pointing out any of the good points of the house or telling the buyers about the local area or anything that might help sell the house. They just followed the buyers, said they didn't know anything about the house and if the buyers noticed any faults agree with them, there was no sell any of the good points. I just don't see how you pay so much for so little, we have been around a lot of houses with estate agents and they try sell the house to you, but Manning just didn't, don't know if it's a lack of training or lack of motivation but I think something needs looking at here. Also at no point were we asked about anything to do with the house (boilers, neighbours, why we were selling etc. Questions buyers ask). So when the buyers came and asked, the estate agent looked clueless. We ended up leaving a printed of leaflet with all the normal questions so the buyers would know soemthing. But once a buyer does come along and buy your house this is were manning stainton or should I say their lady in shining armour Lesley Alexander comes in and she is what has saved this review from a 1 star to 3. Lesley stays in touch, every week she rings and let's you know the score not just on selling but us buying. She like a chain queen, any problems she's on it, kicking slow solicitors butt's into action. We got the feeling Lesley is well experienced, good round knowledge of the whole process and great communication skill, everything you want in this stressful situation. **update 2 months have past since Manning commented on this to say they would be in contact about the poor service yet no one has rang or even emailed. Clearly here to collect your money and forget about you. Dropped to a 2 star from 3.
