Hi Guys. Think twice renting off theses rip off ****. keeping deposit of £500 and saying we owed them £750 saying everythin was damage. Only lived there about 12 months

My son tryed to get a room rental they took 75 pounds reservation fee and led us to believe this was returnable if for any reason the let failed, it did has his work contract is with an agency and therefore temporary, they then refused to return the deposit. I am looking to take them through the small claims court. Avoid people that bare face lie! is my advice.

Very shocking customer service, they don’t care about people who rent property and just do make do repairs as they don’t care how it effects the tents as all they see is the money they are getting and it’s not them that have to life there. They don’t make their landlords stick to the law. They don’t even know fire safety laws and the fact that you have to date carbon monoxide detectors so don’t even care about their tenants health and safety just when you pay your rent. Very rude staff who act like they are better than anyone else.

Throughout renting, any enquiries that were made were never returned with an answer. The house was not cleaned very well when we moved in, however expected to be returned in a better state (at our expense). There was no check out appointment made, even though we paid for this up front when applying for the property. Going by your other reviews it's no real surprise now that the level of service is not where it is meant to be. Having used another franchise of Martin & Co in a different area, who are without fault, it is clear to me now that the service I received at the Gainsborough Branch is unacceptable. Estate agents think they hold all the power, but its time for tenants to stick up for themselves. Would not recommend unless management has a clear turn around. Guess they rely on the demographic of the area to give substandard service to the most vulnerable in the local community.
