There aren’t many reviews from tenants on agency websites and I suspect this is because renting property in London has become like applying for a job in a recession. Desperate to impress in an oversubscribed market, there’s nothing for renters to gain from casting judgement on the people who hold all the cards. This is a familiar disparity and the grim reality of renting in London, so to find an agency with some sympathy, who offer a slightly different approach feels almost like an act of compassion. I have rented two properties from Daisylets and both experiences have shown them to be almost unique in their attitude towards prospective tenants. Selecting a few suitable applicants for considered viewings and matching them to properties with discerning landlords makes a lot of sense and saves time and disappointment on both sides. The alternative is horrendous. Justin, Ed and Nella are reliable, consistent and communicative about the facts, making sure everything is organised in good time and as advertised but the real credit here should go to Rebecca who heads up the viewings. With more than 50 people interested in each property, the art of dealing out more rejections than approvals shouldn’t be underestimated. She was beyond helpful and very realistic about how to approach finding and securing somewhere good and deeply reassuring about the prospects of making it happen. This was all very refreshing to hear in the current climate but even more impressive is that she did actually make it happen, quickly, considerately and all as promised. Absolute gold so 5 stars and a medal for her.
