Just sold our flat via Ellis & Co. We saw about 4 agents in the area without feeling fully convinced by any one of them until a friend recommended we see Ellis & Co. The Director, Khalid, came out to meet us and by the end of that first meeting, we knew they were the ones for us. Khalid has decades of experience in the industry, knows the local area, actually listens and frankly honest (we all know this is a rare trait with estate agents). He showed a real enthusiasm for our property, shared thoughts immediately on how he would market it, and respected our needs to work viewings around our family life. My one criteria upon selecting Ellis was to only have a strong singular point of contact throughout the sale and Khalid made good on that. On top of that, he kept an open door to any questions we had, including those related to an onward purchase we were making via another agency. Perhaps little known but Ellis are also active in the local community and I learnt after the fact that they donated to the primary school fundraising efforts my son attends (giving back is a rare thing, and Ellis did not demand advertising boards as part of that). As property sales go, we had a few high stress moments during the sale but Khalid was personally on top of all those moments, with timely updates to us via email & phone, and worked really with with our solicitor in the final stages to push things through at a time when we were abroad whilst all the other parties in the chain felt like draggers. I simply cannot recommend Ellis & Co. more and would not hesitate to go with them again.
