TERRIBLE DO NOT GO WITH THEM. YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. When we first moved into the house none of our bedroom or bathroom locks worked. Both bathrooms locked u in from the inside I was stuck in there for 2 hours. The garage was absolutely disgusting which doesn’t even describe the condition 🤢🤢🤮 and the fireplace had so much dust and debris it’s like a natural disaster had happened. They never fixed ANY of our locks even though they said “yeah we’ll get that fixed asap”. This company will try ANYTHING to withhold your deposit taking advantage of poor vulnerable students. They are the worse. If I could leave a negative review I would

AVOID AVOID AVOID this agency. it tooks 2 weeks trying to rent a room in sharehouse It s very difficult to reach them by email or phone. They changed 3 times the hour and the day of the appointement to view the room. I immediately booked this room as I had already lived there for 3 years. they did not wanted to rent it to me. they didn't want to do a virtual view like the previous nice landlord had done due to my disability. I have insisted a lot to have this room which had all the criteria for my disability. I did everything they resquested. I wasted a lot of time and money. After two weeks they said they have choosen someone else.I think the agency did not want to rent me the room because of my disability. they give a very bad image of English agencies. To avoid. Unprofessional, inhuman, bad customer service.

Despite their claims, I received no communication about the viewing being cancelled. When trying to reach out to the office, I have revived poor levels of customer service and faced with a rude response.

Awful service throughout tenancy & beyond. Property owners & tenants avoid if possible, they will not respond to emails requesting essentials like enough bins for the amount of flats in a building, if a room is extremely damp & mouldy they will pass off your upset about your furniture and belongings being ruined by trying to increase your rent in a global pandemic when most people are struggling to even pay their bills (whilst claiming the landlord has asked for the increase, of which after checking they knew nothing about). Furthermore, when you end the tenancy they will ignore your request for a reference (a simple click of a button) the office main contact is rude, inexperienced and extremely unhelpful. To top it all off, I would suggest you don’t put too much effort into cleaning as they will allow builders into the property prior to inspection and assess how clean it is with tools, dust and other equipment throughout; consequently leading to a lot of deposit deductions. An awful organisation, I can only hope some higher management at Martin & Co see this review & take action.
