Great company. Really. Let me tell you a story. Three years ago, I was looking to move to the Warwick area for work. A colleague suggested checking out estate agents on Euston Place. After some initial disappointment, my wife and I walked into the Hawkesford office and were greeted warmly. They informed us about a house that matched our criteria but wasn't yet listed. We viewed it, fell in love with it, and lived there for three years without any significant issues. Hawkesford was very accommodating and responsive when we requested permission to install CCTV and a new hob, even though the old one still worked but was inefficient. There were a few minor issues. The previous tenant had left rubbish in the garage that was never collected despite assurances, so we eventually took it to the recycling center ourselves. The garden was unkempt, and windows that were warped outwards weren't replaced until five months into our tenancy, leaving our home cold during the winter. Additionally, despite acknowledging the rotten decking, it was never repaired, posing a safety hazard. Despite these issues, we were overall satisfied with Hawkesford as our landlord. We took the initiative to leave the property in excellent condition—painted, cleaned, and with mowed lawns. Hawkesford appreciated this effort, and we received our deposit back without any fuss. If you treat your landlord with respect and kindness, they will reciprocate. In summary, I recommend Hawkesford as a landlord. They're good people.
