As a landlord, I thought I was experienced and I thought I have been renting my property myself for years, successfully too! However last year when the regulations changed regarding compliance I was really struggling to keep my properties legally up to date. I contacted Umega and dealt with Jacqueline who was incredibly helpful and shared all the knowledge I would need to continue being a landlord myself, however with the great service I opted to use Umega instead and it was the best decision I made this year.

I use 3 different letting agents as I am landlord to 3 different flats in UK. Umega are by far the best. Very professional and efficient. Endlessly patient in explaining the technical/legal side of things. Always courteous. They also have a very useful HMO/maintenance team who are experienced in problem solving issues with Edinburgh flats. Recommend highly.

I have dealt with several members of the Umega Lettings team since I handed them my flat to rent 6-7 years ago. Everyone I have dealt with has been incredibly easy to deal with. It’s good to have a property manager who knows me and my flat well, but I enjoy dealing with other members of the team when I hear from them too! Hopefully when I move on to my next house (2016?!) I can hang onto my current flat and pass this to Umega to manage too.

Owner I have used Umega for a number of years now and find their service outstanding. Everyone is helpful, courteous and professional and nothing is too much trouble. A recent unfortunate need to terminate a tenancy and the preparation for re letting, and re letting was handled with great professionalism by Nikki who went above and beyond the call of duty in dealing with the whole matter. Great team ; Great company.

Umega lettings were extremely good. As a new tenant we had good communication, I had my emails responded very promptly, they arranged the viewing according to our availability & communication throughout was very efficient. Great experience with Umega so far, lovely staff, great flat, and really nice and thoughtful to have things like fresh crockery moving into the place, along with tea bags and loo roll! Any issues I've had with the flat have been resolved quickly by Umega, so I'd definitely recommend them so far.

I've used Umega as my letting agent for a number of years now and always found them to be very friendly, efficient and helpful. More recently, I decided to invest in a major refurbishment of my property, which was organised seamlessly by Leona. The quality of the work done by their contractor was also excellent. Re-marketing was equally smooth and I'm now achieving exactly the rental income I'd hoped for. I'm more than happy to recommend their services.

I have just finished my second year of living at a flat run by Umega and the only reason i am not staying on is because i am going travelling. The quick responses and helpful team tackle any issues that may arise very quickly. Also i have found that with other letting agent s, students can be treated like children and not listened to or trusted. This is absolutely not the case with Umega. Our property manager Steve in particular was simply excellent. He always got back to our emails promptly, maintained constantly open lines of communication and kept the entire tenancy experience pleasant. Would highly recommend!
