I am renting a 2 bed flat with my partner. Initially Umega were absolutely fantastic, but it has been difficult to get a response on queries after we signed the lease. Since moving in we've had to report a couple of issues, mainly the gas hob and boiler Getting a new hob took almost a month but we managed. Currently, 17/01/2024, we are without hot water and heating. In winter. We reported the issue 5 days ago and we've had minimal contact from Umega. Getting an update from our portfolio manager is like pulling teeth. All I got is that it has to go to the landlord before repairing the boiler.. I understand that, but after waiting 5 days without hot water or heating I must say that I am outraged. I am resorting to leaving this review in hopes that someone above our portfolio manager gets stuff done. An absolute disgrace to leave tenants with heating and hot water.
