Shockingly bad service, avoid at all costs. Umega were responsive & professional before we moved into the property but as soon as the lease was signed we were treated extremely poorly. The property was unsafe, untenable and in a state of disrepair that had been disguised for the viewings. It was a nightmare to get Umega to even respond to our requests for repairs needed on the property which after less than 2 weeks was missing an entire window and left the property open to wind & rain. Throughout our stay Umega were dishonest, difficult to communicate with, reluctant to do any work & generally unpleasant. Lots of good lettings agents in Edinburgh, umega certainly aren't one of them.

Lewis, Many thanks for your feedback and I am sorry you are so disappointed with our service. I have looked into the situation and understand you reported the loose window to us so we sent a contractor round to quote (who then recommended replacing all windows in the property). The landlord agreed to purchase new windows but asked for c 2 windows to get funds together to pay for these windows. We gave our contractor the go-ahead and they began constructing the windows (as the property is within a conservation area the windows took 2 weeks to build). I understand your tenancy runs till April 2015 however you wished to vacate early due to personal reasons so we secured a replacement tenant to let you out your tenancy early (we did not charge a marketing fee to you even though we spent time conducting viewings/money spent advertising online). Based on the above explanation we do feel rather aggrieved and somewhat surprised with your 1-star rating!
