I initially contacted David Evans in 2015 with regard to obtaining a Probate valuation on my parents' home after the death of my father. Mark Toomer of the Eastleigh branch attended and conducted a professional evaluation that was very quickly submitted and enabled prompt undertaking of the Probate process. In discussions during valuation I was attracted by the professional, and obviously knowledgeable approach and felt that, when a decision was made to sell the property in 2016, David Evans Agency was the place to go. A current valuation was undertaken and the property marketed under a Sole Agency. Descriptive paperwork was quickly produced and displayed the house in a good light and with honest reference to the fact that refurbishment would be necessary. Enquiries and viewings quickly ensued with all offers and viewings being advised to me. I had made it clear that I was not interested in any offer below the asking price, but did ask that all offers be relayed to me, which was done. A final offer at the asking price was accepted and the subsequent sale process progressed with me being kept fully informed at all stages. The sale concluded, despite some delays in the conveyancing process that included issues regarding title as the property was not registered. This was resolved. I found the David Evans Agency to be a very satisfactory company to deal with and will certainly look to them for future assistance in similar transactions going forward.
