Whilst this is unfortunate it is also inevitable that someone ends up disappointed We always ensure that we ask at the earliest possible stage the method being used to purchase a property whether cash or mortgage. We would normally collect this information at the time you make your initial offer and. our notes do state that you were a cash buyer. When the best and final offers were put forward it was on the basis that both interested parties were able to proceed without a mortgage. When it became clear that this was not the case we were duty bound to report this information to the vendor and this made a significant difference to the decision making process. Ultimately this meant that you were unsuccessful on this occasion.
