Pretty bad service, they were not able to provide all the necessary information, such as codes to enter the residence. They also gave me the appartement in a dirtier state than I gave them back, I cleaned perfectly the apartment, but they always find a way to keep your deposit.

Hello unfortunately you left the property needing a light clean, and a small amount has been reclaimed from your deposit. The majority of your deposit has been released back to you.

Initially seemed like your standard estate agents. But upon moving out I expected a basic level of professionalism, when I emailed that I was giving notice I at least expected a reply for confirmation..... But no. Phone conversations saying they'll get back to you..... But no. Wouldn't recommend renting through Martin & Co.

On 12 August 2025 at approximately 9:35 am, I called Martin & Co Derby. I spoke to a staff member whose name I’m unsure of, but it sounded similar to “Maddy.” I made three separate calls, but each time the line was cut off. It felt as though the person did not want to engage with me or assist in resolving my concern.

Automated message is broken. No one answers the phone, called 3 times and keep getting a message after waiting around 15 minutes stating that the lines are busy and I can either hold the line or email and then get cut off. Why give me the … More

Rung to enquire about a property listed today. I wanted to make a cash offer at the listed price without a viewing just like a property I bought from them 2-3 years ago. I was informed that they do not have the full particulars of the property and will not accept offers without a viewing which they can’t give me regardless at the present moment in time! Great sales service. If you are looking to buy a property quickly, efficiently and without any games then I would suggest you look elsewhere like myself!

Disappointed with Martin & Co estate agents, I had scheduled an appointment with them for a property viewing, and after waiting for an entire week, I arrived at the location only to receive a last-minute message from them informing me that the appointment had been cancelled. This lack of consideration for a client's time is completely unacceptable and reflects a level of unprofessionalism that I did not expect from a reputed agency. Such experiences erode trust and cause significant inconvenience, which I hope the agency will work to prevent in the future
