Martyn Gerrard Estate Agents satisfactorily managed the flat I let for many years. So when it became necessary for me to sell the property, I asked the Crouch End branch to deal with the matter. I believe I got good advice and they certainly made every effort to get a sale for me. Treon Johnson arranged numerous viewings and eventually found buyers who seem very well suited to the property. The legal aspects of the sale became unusually complicated, but Treon did an exceptional job and helped to keep everything on track, leading eventually to a satisfactory completion. He liaised between the buyers and me and followed up matters with the solicitors, and always managed to be positive and good humoured even when things seemed to be going wrong. Importantly, he telephoned frequently with updates so that no-one was left in doubt for long about what stage the transaction had reached. All in all, my association with Martyn Gerrard over many years has been a very positive one.

Fantastic experience and excellent service. I'm writing this review as a non client Joe at Balgores Brentwood is the agent for my buyer. Joe is polite, honest, professional and a genuinely lovely person. If he says he will get back to you, he will no matter how busy he is. He has a "get it done" attitude which is what you need when buying/selling a property. Joe kept me informed on the progress of my sale and how the chain was progressing. It wasn't the easiest at times but he remained positive. He was talking to everyone in the chain from the bottom to the top, which was me the non client. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience whilst moving house. All the staff at Balgores have been amazing but Joe Hayes in particular has been fantastic! He is reliable, very very helpful, friendly, reassuring and funny. ( we all need some humour to help us along the way) he goes above and beyond his duties. We have worked with Emma and Raphael from Houseman for 8 years and in that time we have found them extremely responsive, acting responsibly on behalf of the tenants and the landlords be it moving in, moving out or issues that occur during the tenancy. They have very good relations with the contractors they use and can always be relied upon to take a pragmatic view around any issues that crop up. Trust is a word that sometimes gets forgotten in this area, but not here.

Stayed with the team for three years. Highly professional and they know the ins and outs of managing a property which made things straight forward. Checkin was smooth and handled over the video. Any amendments were made and the team is very responsive. Checkout was also smooth and communication is excellent. I would encourage greater flexibility when renewing contracts when tenants are looking to shift.

Houseman properties have managed the letting and upkeep of my flat in Pinner for the last 4 years. They have been excellent keeping me up to date with what is happening, providing tax documents and information about repairs and organising legal inspections. The contractual and finance side of the business is also handled very professionally. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
