We have been with Martin and Co for almost 7 years and they were amazing for the first 4-5, but the last couple of years (after a change in employees) we have seen a decline in customer service. Our last tenancy from 2020 to 2021 took 6 months to get sorted (when all it needed were a couple of words changing). Last month we had a bath leak and it took them a few days to send someone out to fix it. I sent the branch a long email about my disappointment in the service and this went ignored. This past week our boiler has broken and it has taken them (after daily chasing by phone) 6 days to get in touch with a contractor to actually fix it, who had to order a part and won’t be able to fix it for another 3-4 days. We have no hot water or heating, and won’t have done for up to 10 days, which are required by law. Our usual contractor has told us that delays are due to Martin and Co and almost never the landlord or contractor (especially when it comes to important issues). We have also found this to be largely true. Incredibly disappointing, when before this time we were very happy with the service.
