Belvoir staff are prompt at informing us of any changes or alerting us to information from tenants. Communication is good, however we would wish for more consistency when making inventory checks. Garden areas, or indeed any area included in the tenancy agreement, should be assessed as rigorously as the house interior.
I live in a property next door to one managed by Belvoir. The fence (owned by the property they manage) came down 20 days ago and they've made no effort to repair it or let us know when they plan to do so.
Were not very helpful cash buyer seeking property she didn't even want to regester us with them strange approach
Most incompetent and deceitful agency I have encountered in 18 years of renting. They resort to lies to squeeze a penny out of you. Disgusting lack of standards.
Terrible company. Disregard all of the good reviews because clearly the company is deleting the many terrible reviews they will be receiving. Belvoir is an awful company, they do not care about their customers/clients, provide close to zero customer service support and ignore all issues and problems you have with a property you are renting from then. They are extremely rude on the phone and I wish I could give 0 stars instead of 1. Can’t wait to get as far from this company as possible. The lease can’t end quick enough! Awful property condition and they do absolutely nothing about it, they hide things from you when you view a property and then do absolutely nothing once the lease is legally active. They can’t even contact a landlord regarding serious issues! Just seriously avoid this company at all costs, the lady conducting our viewing couldn’t even get off her phone for 5 minutes to show us around properly! That should’ve been enough of a red flag for us to avoid. Mistake we will never make again!
They don't deserve one star, I do not recommend them to any landlords, my house was left with terrible damage, they have been useless, maybe they are fine if the tenants are well behaved and they don't have to do much, happily taking their cut of the rent but not so happy to do a proper job.
ABSOLUTELY USELESS - NEVER, EVER USE THIS AGENT IF YOU ARE A LANDLORD! I have a newly renovated student let which has always been very easy to fill with tenants, even though I live outside of Cheltenham, I had had the house full for 10-12 months year on year without fail by just putting an ad up in easyroommate website. I then mistakenly gave it to Belvoir to manage, what a huge and costly mistake that was! I gave the house to them to manage in January which was at the time tenanted until the end of June. Come the 1st of July, the old tenants moved out but Belvoir had not found any new ones. Come 1st September, when students were starting uni, Belvoir still had found absolutely no one. In the end, I had to put ads up myself to find tenants who I then sent to Belvoir to be shown around my house because they're 'marketing' was apparently completely non-existant. It was a nightmare, I had to rent each room out individually in the end and didn't fill the house until the following January, I estimated they cost me around £6000 in lost rent, not to mention the stress of the whole thing. After that I went back to managing the place myself even though I live 200 miles away because it was actually far easier and much less stressful than leaving it to Belvoir. STAY CLEAR!
