Don’t normally leave reviews as never have had such a bad experience. We viewed a property and knew straight away we wanted to rent. Offered the asking price which was then a waiting game (slow to get back to us). We got news our offer had been accepted which was great news to us and our family.
Straight away we started preparing , contacting energy providers , ordering items ready to move etc.
We then received an email days later after agreeing the price , saying a higher offer had now been offered and accepted. No attempts of a counter offer had been made by the estate agent even though a verbal agreement had been made. This is morally wrong but legally nothing can be done. Very unprofessional.
Not much else to say,
Avoid!NegativeProfessionalism

Dear Max
We are sorry to have received notification of your review - we endeavour to provide the best customer service possible to all our customers and we have a very good local reputation for having an excellent level of customer service so it is disappointing to receive such feedback.
We must present all offers to a client when they are received as we have a legal obligation to do this until an offer has been formally agreed by the owner of the property, a holding deposit paid and referencing commenced. It is always a difficult situation to deal with when a single property receives multiple offers because inevitably it means we will have to let someone down as ultimately only one offer can be accepted. Regretfully on this occasion the owners had decided to proceed with another offer and as their acting Agent we must honour their instructions.
Again, we are sorry your application on this occasion was not successful and we wish you well in seeking an alternative property which we would be happy to assist you with should you so wish.
Kind regards, Park & Bailey Lettings.
