Update: Four years later and things have improved a lot. Belvoir have been really good during the pandemic, organizing essential works while ensuring our safety, having remote inspections and just generally being super responsive to maintenance issues. Our current property manager, Chloe, has been such a great help. One of the better letting agencies in Cambridge. The Cambridge office is staffed by a team of really efficient and energetic people. The check in process is very very efficient and clearly explained. They also very clearly explain all their charges (more reasonable than a lot of Cambridge agents) and there are no hidden surprises (which hasn't always been our experience elsewhere). They provide a photographic inventory which is v useful. As tenants it's up to you to check this very carefully. Belvoir are transparent so one hopes that if it's time to end the tenancy there won't be any inventory surprises (not every agency out there is this honest). The missing star is due to upper management who should create an easier way to communicate when it comes to maintenance issues. On the plus side you can report online and submit photos. After that you have to live in hope. Fortunately the office team is good at sorting things out but that's really not how things are meant to be.
