A property was advertised and I went and viewed it. It was acceptable and I made the £100 holding fee and arranged a moving date. I put in my notice in my existing house arranged holiday and booked a van. 24 hrs later I received an email from the agents saying that the landlord wanted me to move in in 3 weeks which sounded alarm bells. When I went for the viewing the tenant in the property showed me round but apparently Nicholas Humphries didn't know that a tenant was living there they thought it was vacant. After numerous emails and phone calls it turned out that the landlord had rented it to one of his friends therefore I lost the house. Apparently Nicholas Humphries didn't know the landlords dealings. I asked for my £100 back, only to be told it would take a week to go back into my account. I feel I have been ripped off and am still awaiting refund. From the start of the transaction I felt that the staff did not know what they were doing. I will never deal with them again.
