I have rented through simply let for a while, I personally wouldn't recommend this letting agency. They don't seem to care about their clients.

Jamie Lane you do not rent / have never rented through Simply Let Dorset so please remove this false review ASAP ! There is another Simply Let in the North of England I prusume are you getting the two mixed up? I will report this to Google as an error to get it removed as it is not accurate.

Absolutely awfull!!! Never go near this agency if you can help it you will be mentally better off and financially too We moved into this property in August of 2025 all was well for a couple of months until mould started too appear in every room we contacted jacky and simply let about this and they said it was our fault that we brought it in but did try and help a little with leaflet and the owner of the property did come round and clean it which at the time we did appreciate But then it kept coming back and simply let got more and more un interested they kept saying it was our fault and too keep cleaning it we have a 11 month old baby and it was ruining all our stuff and making us sick We kept asking simply let to do a mould survey and kept pressing the issue as finally they gave in and got one in they informed us it was an issue with the flat not us and all of a sudden communication went silent no email message nothing got too the middle of January and we had enough so we had no choice but too move out We then moved out and jacky and simply let always seem too win no matter what as they charged us 400£ too clean the mould that was everywhere and a FLAT ISSUE!!!! They became rude and unhelpful i would never recommend anyone rent with simply let your better off anywhere else

Hello Jack, you moved into this flat without asking us taking the place of Adam. Lisa then retrospectively asked to add you to the tenancy. Prior to you moving in Lisa & Adam reported mould. We were surprised as have let the flat for 3 previous years & never had any mould. This is a quality purpose built flat. The landlady came for 4 visits prior to you moving in the help for 3 hours at a time to clean off mould & to educate on ventilation & heating. Lisa told us her previous home was very mouldy so yes we do suspect spores were bought in on soft toys & soft furnishings as this flat, nor any others in the block suffer mould. After Christmas we sent Prokil who did a report but just after the visit you gave notice to vacate so it was never fully discussed with you. We let you leave within Lisa & Adams fixed term tenancy without charges or penalty as you were unhappy. The checkout report was dreadful, infact the checkout company rang me as they were shocked. There were spilt drinks on walls & carpets & the flat was dirty. There were stuck on letters on the toilet & hallway wall & around 50 pictures had been stuck up on walks & ripped off damaging plaster. The lounge blind was so bent we had to replace it. Also rent was owed & an invoice from the managing conpany as you left a tall fridge freezerin the hallway. We had to do a deep clean throughout & our handyman is repairing walls, painting throughout & replacing damaged carpets etc now! Adam the initial tenant who paid the deposit with Lisa was copied in on the checkout & he contacted me to apologise for the mess, he was mortified too as he was hoping for some deposit back. This let was only 7 months long which makes it even more disappointing. Jacky Owner

Absolutely awful!! Me and my 2 year old moved into a property that had mold and damp everywhere which ruined all of our belongings. We got very sick while staying within the property and ended up having to leave early. I had begged this letting agency countless times for a year to help with this problem and they refused to do anything about it and constantly made me think I was delusional and told me "it's not mold, it's fine. It won't harm you" after moving out they are now charging me for dust. Would seriously not recommend this letting agency! They don't care about you but only money. There had also been a couple of incidents where they allowed the landlord to come into the property when I was out and without my knowledge and had also let contractors try and come in using a key without my knowledge when I was bathing.

Oh Charlie this is totally unfair...you moved into a freshly painted & professionally cleaned home & we're awkward about access for contractors & the landlord to review any issues you reported & cancelled appointments at an hours notice on many occasions, infact the loft insulation was cancelled 4 times! BCP were involved as you called environmental health & their report suggested we add a longer handrail to the stairs & restricted the window height by adding bars. BCP report did not mention mould & I have managed this property for 20 years & never had any issues as your landlords care & do all the maintenance I ask. They have also agreed for you to leave the tenancy within the fixed term without charges. Mould is often caused by lack of heating & ventilation but in this case we never did an independent report as it was not found by BCP as an issue. Yes on one occasion a contractor knocked & tried to turn the key as the landlord had forgotten to tell us & you called Leon screaming uncontrollably and we calmed you down but that was a one off & he didn't cone in. Any review is great but please keep it fair. I am currently arranging a cleaner & carpet cleaner to get the home back to move in quality & will get your deposit back to BCP who paid it for you as soon as I can ...Jacky

I left a comment a year ago that appears not to be here now and left a one star. Jacky and her team harassed me and my daughter to the core. We went to court on a section 21 and we won, then to be told by Jacky basically your rents now up …

Hi Paul, I can see the £70 is missing for the garage & Mark advised you he was a bit late ladt week. He is late by 1 week, probably on holiday as he pays manually.
