In the event of any other issues, it is advisable to have a written record of communication via email. When checking out, make sure to keep detailed records of the property's condition upon departure as well. The more detailed, the better, as Savills' headquarters may request excessive cleaning fees and unreasonable repair costs. Drawing from my experience, I recommend standing your ground and taking the evidence to TDS. A fair adjudication will ensure you receive the justice you deserve. In my case, I got my full deposit back, and the landlord received no reward.
