Very disappointed with service from letting team. Signed the agreement for cjholes letting to take over my house in bradley Stoke on 4th September. Long term tenants in property. Tenancy agreement required renewing 5th November. Details of deposit had to be obtained from another agent and tenant had to come into office. Tenant took a while to respond to email, I had warned them of this and given mobile numbers, plus quite a lot of supportive information. By 18th November no deposit obtained, but tenant turned up, without obtaining an appointment, was told they were far too busy to see him without an appointment and tenancy agreement not ready as deposit not obtained. Tenant eager to pay his rental, texted me saying cjholes couldn’t take rent. He paid me directly. I rang cjholes and after 2 attempts spoke to Karen. She was extremely abrasive and highly defensive, also too busy to speak to tenant or me. This was more than 8 weeks from signing up. I expressed my amazement at this state of affairs. Still no deposit, so no tenancy agreement after 8 weeks. On the Monday I received an email saying that they would be unable to manage my property due to the difficulties they were encountering. This left me in a position of tenants with no contract, tenants not knowing who or how to pay rent and me left high and dry, Having been a landlord of multiple properties for many years, I could not recommend this estate agent to any landlord. I have since gone elsewhere and the new agent couldn’t understand why there was a problem and considered that it was part of their job as letting agents.
Overall pretty poor customer service starting from over valuing the property which impacted initial interest, lots of time wasters who didn't seem to be vetted very thoroughly and then very poor communication during the selling process. Fortunately the agents of the property we were buying were the total opposite and drove the sale, I daresay without them we would never have managed to move before Xmas....
Appalled at the service we’ve received from CJ Hole so far. We are currently living in an uninhabitable property (paying £2250/month for the below). The extensive black mould is exacerbating my autoimmune condition, yet the letting agents and property manager have been unresponsive to all of my communications regarding this. Kevin Brent, the landlord, is a crook and hasn’t even offered us so much as a rent reduction. Avoid at all costs.
Hi, CJ Hole is a great team, however Williams Barry, the mortgage advisor, isn't to my satisfaction. Inadequate assistance was provided, and the mortgage application was turned rejected for incorrect information. Despite the fact that I am qualified for a mortgage with competitive offers, he totally neglected it. Sorry, but this is not advised. I'm going to research alternative letting agents and mortgage advisors and other letting agents now.
Overpriced Rent for a start, take forever to get people to do repairs to the property, they book a repairman in then don't tell the tenants about it, when the repairman shows up and nobody is home, he charges a call out fee (fair enough) CJ hole then passes it on to the tenant when you haven't told them when the repairman is turning up? This is after the hassle of trying to get them to repair anything at all.....which takes months.

And especially, a not very smart woman is sitting at the reception, she will answer the phone, she will write down your name for 10 minutes and then tell you that you are not suitable. With a good income in this agency, there is no chance of renting a house. don't contact them.
Very poor service from a supposedly excellent estate agent! We could and would as cash buyers have bought the property but we were almost accused of money laundering and as a result we’re denied the sale! Shame on you CJ Hole
