Found the two franchisees at N.F. Boston to be extremely arrogant, unprofessional and rude. Arranged a viewing with them and when the guy showed up (Mr Holland), he refused to introduce himself and then ignored me until I enquired who he was, and this was while he was trying to access the wrong property! He then continued with this attitude when we eventually accessed the correct property, being uncommunicative, uncooperative and insulting. When I phoned up to complain was told by the other franchisee (Mr Oglesbee) to "fill my boots" , when I pointed out my option of referring the matter to the Property Ombudsman, where it is now currently being dealt with. Have had my offer accepted on another property with another agent, whose approach and conduct could not have been more different from this pair. Clearly I will have nothing more to do with this outfit and warn others accordingly. BTW , saying " we apologise if you feel the service was not up to standard" is not a proper apology , and far from the full, written and unqualified apology I requested from the outset to resolve this matter. Also BTW, this is the first of many reviews I will be posting on the various websites about this pair and their outfit and, as advised by Newton Fallowell Boston themselves, I will be "filling my boots" Mr Oglesbee. Dear Mr Owen, We have tried on several occasions to resolve the issue you have raised and also apologised numerous times if you feel that the service you received wasn’t up to standard. We have asked how you would like us to resolve this matter only for you to end the phone call by hanging up. We have also responded to all of your emails including your final 2 in which you asked us for financial compensation, something which we do not feel is correct or fair given your complaint. As we have not been able to resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, then the only option available is for you to refer to the Property Ombusdman for them to adjudicate on the matter.
