I chose Farrell Heyworth to sell my late mother's house in Blackpool. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. I did think their valuation was too low however and contrary to their strong recommendation, asked that it be marketed for an additional £5k. Within a week, an offer for the full asking price was received which confirmed my viewpoint and made me glad that I'd 'stuck to my guns'. Particular mention must go to their 'sales progressor', Alison Whiteside, who became involved in matters when I thought my solicitor was dragging his heels and not keeping me updated. Alison's no nonsense but very friendly approach, was a breath of fresh air. She was immediately 'on it' and from that moment, things seemed to happen. She kept me regularly updated with developments from both my own side and also, from the buyers and genuinely seemed to have my best interests as her priority. She was also sensitive to the emotional connection I had with my family home. I was very grateful for her efforts which contributed to a successful sale... thank you Alison. Overall, Farrell Heyworth did a good job and I was very satisfied.
